For reference, the hotel quoted me a hotel car for PHP 800.
If I am leaving the hotel back to the airport for an 8pm flight (rush hour traffic around 530pm), should I go for the hotel car ?
Not exact pricing, but the coupon taxi will be about P450 (there is a board where you get the taxi and they tell you beforehand). A yellow taxi will be around P250-P300 (maybe?). Sorry I can't be more exact. Just make sure they turn on the meter and take the yellow taxi. When they ask if it is your first time to Manila say you come there often (so they won't try to take advantage of you).
From the Hotel to the Airport, just get a metered taxi (although, after being in Manila for a few days, you should be able to answer this question yourself). If it is raining allow plenty of extra time.
