On my last flight LHR - BKK I pre-ordered the chicken green curry - one of "the Y favourites" as someone here commented. Anyone who thinks this is remotely similar to a Y meal is delusional and likely has not eaten either.
The dish arrives in a china pot with lid and was piping hot - one of my main gripes about airline food is it being lukewarm. I also asked for it pet (spicy) and this was done too together with a small dish of prik nahm blah. Each single piece of succulent chicken would have made a Y meal. Awesome and the best dish I have ever had on an airplane. I also had a half portion of a Thai king prawn dish off the menu again served in its own pot. A proper little feast with some quality Australian Shiraz - presumably a replacement for a European wine as it was not on the list.
