Flyertalk - I'm hoping you can help me with my current situation. I'm DM and have 120,000 MQMs YTD. I've got the following questions:
1) If I have no additional activity, I'd end up Platinum for next year. Would I still rollover the 45K MQMs to next year even if I'm DM this year and would only be Plat next year?

For your issue number 2, I think it depends on when your closing date is. If your statement is already closed for December, then any additional spending after the closing date would not post miles (I think) until your January statement date, thus making them be added to your rollover. For example, my statement closing date is Dec. 24, so I made sure to hit my last threshold on Dec. 23 last year to ensure the miles posted in 2012. Of course, I could be wrong and any spending after closing date could just get reset to zero on Dec. 31.
