Flyertalk - I'm hoping you can help me with my current situation. I'm DM and have 120,000 MQMs YTD. I've got the following questions:

1) If I have no additional activity, I'd end up Platinum for next year. Would I still rollover the 45K MQMs to next year even if I'm DM this year and would only be Plat next year?

2) I have the Plat Delta AMEX. I've spent around 23K YTD. If I spend 2K on x-mas gifts before the end of the year will the 10K MQMs show up on this year or in January and add on to any roll-over (see question #1)?

Although I'm planning a few long BE flights to Europe and Asia early next year, I don't anticipate I'll be as consistent flying next year...hence why I was thinking it would be better to roll-over 45K and get two years at Plat instead of one year at Diamond and a second year at Silver...

Thoughts/Suggestions?
