This surprises me since I had an understanding that SBI has strong credit appraisal processes, but may be I am wrong. Now it doesn't surprise me that inspite of having ICICI, HDFC and AMEX cards, all with individual credit limits of more than 5 lakhs, my SBI card application was rejected.

SBI Cards, what's happening here?
