Had you quoted my message in context, you would see I was saying the other options were "way more appealing" than connecting or spending way more money than I can afford on DL TCON J. Put in summary form:
- DL TCON BE too expensive to purchase outright, almost no viable upgrade option from March
- B6 Mint has reasonable initial pricing to consider purchasing outright, at least under some circumstances
- VX J too expensive to purchase outright, but DoD upgrades are still reasonable
- If I'm going to end up in coach, B6 EMS at 38" is comparable to domestic F, better than DL EC, and keeps me on non-stop flights
Glad to see that the DL board has managed to complain about what is, frankly, an overall positive change.
Depends on your POV. For some this is a positive change. For others, not so much. With a few minor tweaks as I've mentioned earlier in this thread, I'd actually be OK with these changes, but as things stand now I'm not seeing much value in staying with DL (at least at DM).
