I always liked flying with them, as u could check in luggage, they were usually on time. I once missed a flight with them as I did not realize there was a time change in Turkey :-), and I probably had a hangover too.
However, I once had a trip to Russia, India and a week in Izmir after that, Flying back domestically from Izmir to Istanbul they lost my luggage which had survived many Aeroflot flights easily :-).
They never found it back and it costed tens of telephones, mails and more than a year waiting before they paid me some damages for the lost luggage.
Their help desk could not cope with the growth of the company and few spoke english.
YET, I only avoided the airline for a while.. now flying them again once in a while. Their prices remain unbeatable especially knowing they use primary airports in Europe etc.
I have lived in Turkey for over 5 yers,PGS is great for domestic flights,a realy great advantage is that their discounted tickets are generally available fairly close to departure, unlike TK and if you plan ahead 20 usd is a fairly normal price for a domestic flight. Unlike almost any other LCC you also get to check free lugage. Realy,-who needs a snack on a 70 min flight?
