Villa Maria isn't a half-bad Sauvignon Blanc, I had some years ago on NZ in Y when I was seated with a German couple in an exit row. We were seated across from the stewards who would fill us up every time they opened a new bottle.

That said, I'd have stayed with the champagne as well.
