US-Australia flights are not (yet) "domestic US" - even though we seem to let you guys use the smartgates for no reciprocal benefits in return.

Yup. Decent meals on board, even on domestic sectors, and not having to buy a separate lounge membership to get into the lounges (despite having status) being just two of them.
