Any organisation, airline or otherwise, that discourages the consumption of that revolting pale-brown coloured liquid that Starbucks alleges is coffee can only be congratulated and encouraged. Those early Merkins were a couple of hundred years too early when they dumped tea down the New York sewer system, or whatever it was that they did with it. If it happened today, they'd be heading for Seattle and doing it to that Starbucks muck if they had any sense.

I can, however, understand the disappointment of foreigners who are used to being able to carry their kitchen sink onto an airline being denied that pleasure when boarding an Australian carrier. Come to think of it, nah, bugger the foreigners, and it appears that the LOTFAP is the only nation that is marching in-step on that score.

And here was I thinking that the VA board here consisted entirely of of dried-up old prunes. This thread has completely changed my mind.
