As I've said numerous times previously I fly at least 1 to 2 times per week in the domestic US and never once over the course of the past 10 years has there ever been a mention of weight restriction for a carry-on baggage. Of course I suppose things are different with the low-end foreign low-cost carriers that you all are so fond of.
