Most of us would simply have looked at the carrier's website for information on luggage allowances.
Thank you for your interest in my telephone conversation. So that I might clarify they were held to discuss whether or not I was permitted to check luggage. It took them the better part of an hour to determine that my elite status with Delta did not qualify for any reciprocal benefits in regards to complementary check bags. As such I checked the larger of my bags at the Sydney airport hotel so that I did not have to check them on that domestic flight. So your conspiracy theory that I was attempting to scam the airline has once again been disproven sorry...
