The Maldives look beautiful, but I have to say, nine out of ten ex significant others of mine would have flipped out upon seeing that spider. Did the princess not see this spider?
LOL. Yeah, she was a little freaked.
But fortunately we only saw it as we were leaving, and it was long gone by the time we got back.

Looking forward to the rest of the instalments and to seeing whether BA has improved any since you last tried them out!!
Thanks
stu1985. Today is BA day, so we'll see shortly.

Enjoyed the TR so far and looking forward to the BA A380.
Thanks very much

Ha. Good one. Thanks

Did you do snorkelling or diving?
The whole "mobile phone/electro-gadget" thing on the beach is a bit sad. It reminds me of the addiction that smokers have (when we used to see this in public areas, that is). Can people not put their external brains down for a minute to enjoy their surroundings? When I go on holiday an intrusion like that is the absolute LAST thing I want at my side.
Thanks so much
Flyingfox and for your comments. Agree. At least very few actually talking on the phone. And Mrs. SFO was reading a book on her ipad.

For those of us who do not get the opportunity to do a trip of a lifetime every month ;-) could you perhaps rate some of the destinations you have been to against one another ...
My very best,
Braniff
Thanks very much Braniff. We don't do a lot of beach vacations but this was absolutely the most beautiful setting and resort we have visited.

LOL. I wondered sometimes. Breakfast (around 9:30AM) was usually substantial but the fish and salad for lunch (usually around 2:30P) was pretty light. No desserts until dinner which was around 8PM.

Interesting. We were very pleased with the O&O and thought it was actually good value for what we received. Now the holiday rates? That would be another story.

His fiancée was definitely his better half.

Great TR as always. I love how open everything is and how the water is right at your fingertips.
Yeah, I was wondering about that... guess he lost it to Rafa. Thanks for the correction.

Loved the photos of the island, have not stayed there, but a long time ago it was just called Reethi Raj. Have been to MLE on 3 occasions, and it is just amazing, just to be able to sit, read swim and relax is so awesome, looking forward to the next episode.^

Thanks so much
BA5E and for your kind comments, well at least most of them.

She keeps reminding me that I'm the lucky one, and indeed I am.
