Has anyone else watched the four (?) part CCTV documentary, in English, about the women from the town if Sanshui in China who went to Singapore at age 18 to work, often in construction jobs building the city's monuments and later as cleaners, etc. Many stayed there until a recent effort to give them a trip back to their hometown. They're over a hundred years old now, with many living in retirement homes in Singapore. It's a fascinating story.
