On the other hand, I have a domestic segment (ATL-JFK) on an international ticket that is waitlisted but does not show up properly on the DL web (i.e. shows only the economy version). DL agents insist the coding is correct and sent an email with the itinerary that shows two versions of that particular segment.
I've called twice, once to request the mileage upgrade and the second time to check if the request was listed on my record, which the agent affirmed. The first agent was in Chisholm, which gives me some confidence that she did it correctly. I don't have high expectations anyway as the seat map is currently showing just three open seats in back and three in F on a 763 (76Q).
This is on Monday, 12/2, which may be almost worse than flying over the holiday weekend, with the tail end of the vacation travelers plus business travelers returning to their routines.
