From what I have been reading on FT I can see that the a380's are supposed to be directed for the retrofit anytime now and also the 2 new ones with new C should be shipped in March/April - this actually nicely reconciles with what I found on http://info.flightmapper.net/flight/Lufthansa_LH_710 that says it's supposed to return by the end of March. Coincidence?

Check what LH Lurkers posted a couple of days ago. I've flown the A380 to NRT and back a few times and although I do like the new F with a personal closet I'm looking forward to flying the 748i on this route with the new C provided they don't suddenly swap with the 744 due to weather conditions.

Being able to fly into/out of HND rather than NRT will be an added bonus for me.
