i'm interested! just haven't reached Zurich yet
I plan to be in Zurich on a very short transit in the beginning of May. Landing at 8:20 AM, taking off again at 1 PM. awfully short, but I'm told that the airport-city train connection in Zurich is so fast and frequent, that it should be possible to spend a couple of hours down town (just walking down Bahnhofstrasse I imagine).

I've been to Zurich once before. I'd be happy to take another look at the Sprungli shop...but I'll be coming with 2 friends who keep kosher...
So...
- is it really practical to go to town on such a short transit?
- the sites you mentioned, are they within walking distance from the train station?
- Sprungli...any idea if some of the merchandise is kosher?
