And, didn't they downguage other routes?
There were two routes cut, one of which is being replaced by "Trans-Pacific joint venture partner" flights from NRT. USA-BKK on UA was a one-stop before and it'll be a one-stp in the future. SEA-NRT will now require a stop. Other cities are gaining service.
