I hear what you're saying and agree that a blogger shouldn't lie. But the thing is, the blog is supposed to be and to be perceived more than just just a collection of deals. A follower who doesn't want anything else from the blog but the deals, is bound to be frustrated after reading the third or even the second top blog from their niche.

Another problem is that some readers expect every blog to be something for everyone, which is not humanly possible in the first place. It really cracks me up when some folks who have been hobbying for 10 years now demand new content to keep them entertained and educated. Trying to keep happy those who know it all is a losing proposition any which way you look at it.
