Hyatt Gold Passport Terms & Conditions Printable Version

To help Hyatt Gold Passport™ members fully understand the Hyatt Gold Passport program's special services, benefits and awards, the following Terms and Conditions have been prepared as a reference. Unless specifically stated otherwise, these Terms and Conditions will apply to all Hyatt Gold Passport members regardless of type or level of membership.

These provisions will govern participation in the program and it is the member's responsibility to read and understand all of them. Hyatt Gold Passport may change the program rules, conditions, benefits, or awards pertaining to the program at any time without notice.

Hyatt Gold Passport points, partner awards, mileage and associated travel benefits may be subject to taxes; any required disclosure and tax liability is each member's sole responsibility. Membership in the Hyatt Gold Passport program, the awarding of Hyatt Gold Passport points and redemption of Hyatt Gold Passport points are void where prohibited by law, and are subject to applicable government regulations. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

These Terms and Conditions may only be modified in writing by an officer of Hyatt™. Other than as set forth in the previous sentence, no employee, agent or other representative of Hyatt or Hyatt Gold Passport has the right or authority to modify any of these Terms and Conditions. All interpretations of these Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Hyatt Gold Passport.

General Terms and Conditions

1. Hyatt Gold Passport™ may, among other things: change earning ability, withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any award, cancel or change partner awards, increase the Hyatt Gold Passport point requirement to redeem any award, change hotel award categories, modify or regulate the transferability of Hyatt Gold Passport points or benefits, add hotel award blackout dates or limit the number of rooms available for award redemption at any or all destinations.

2. Hyatt Gold Passport is not responsible for partner withdrawals from the program, changes in partner service or for Hyatt Gold Passport point cancellations caused by withdrawals.
This has nothing to do with Chase or its withdrawal. It was Hyatt itself that promised the Diamond status for those who applied and were approved. It was Hyatt's offer (in its marketing email and on its website), not Chase's. It doesn't matter if Chase knew about this offer (or mistake). This offer was, nonetheless, Hyatt's, not a partner's, therefore this clause doesn't apply.
