Overnight I like the right side--just personal preference for sleeping comfort/leaning against the fuselage. For daytime TATL flights I also choose the right side to avoid the sun. If a route promises good scenery I'll sit on the left side and raise and lower the window shade periodically.

But legroom trumps view on a long-haul.
