I tried to use a combination of factors to decide where to sit.
1. Checking SeatGuru for where the best seats are.
2. Possibility of views during landing, takeoff or in-flight of interesting geographical features.
3. If all things are equal, I will pick the left side for sleeping, right for spotting/sightseeing.
