Actually, I have a slight preference for "left" on 2-aisle planes since sometimes you get off slightly faster.
I sat on the left side of the plane ICN-NRT for that very reason. Fantastic view of Mt Fuji above the clouds!

Depends on the 2 aisle thing. If you're somewhat far back, the right side can actually be faster b/c people tend to exit to the left aisle, as it's closer to the door. This causes a bigger backup on the left side, with the right side often relatively open.
