Do NOT download from this site. I needed such a tool because I still have XP, so no Snipping Tool. Well, I downloaded and installed. GreenShot itself is pretty nice, but the installer put an incredible amount of crapware, and quite a bit of malware, on my computer. In the installation process, it specifically asks you if you want a bunch of other things. I specifically checked no, but it was all installed anyway. And, of course, it didn't even pretend to ask about the malware (including dangerous redirects). Even after I uninstalled and deleted everything I could find, Malwarebytes still found 20 brand new threats. I just finished wasting 3 hours undoing the damage.
To repeat, do NOT install this.
Just wondering did you actually choose the correct download link on the site? Problem with many freeware/shareware download sites is the Google ads are taken up by things pretending to be the correct download link. in fact there are two "ads" on the site now that look like graphical download buttons, and they even say "download Greenshot". Sometimes they even do legitimately download and install the shareware you're looking for in addition to the crapware/malware, so you don't even realize you've clicked on the bad download graphic.
