Arg... for once I'm flying a B fare from FRA to SFO on LH booked in B -- last minute booking to get out of London before the hurricane. 20k miles to upgrade, great! But, AC's star alliance award upgrade tool is telling me "General Technical Failure", and calling them yielded the same result. They said it's been down for 4 days.
Unfortunately the flight is tomorrow (morning), so no time to wait for it to be fixed. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to make this upgrade happen? AC says they can't contact LH directly; would calling LH myself potentially yield success?
This is an AC question. You're using Aeroplan miles. You must call AC. It's not an LH issue or a *A issue.
