Literally, every five pax will get a random, which is usually a hand or laptop swab.
At the UA checkpoint, random selections happen much less often.
Has anybody noticed higher selection rates recently? Just seems odd to have some many randoms, especially with so few staff around to take care of them. Screening stopped for five minutes today while the x-ray operator went over and did a pat-down and then a hand swab.
