And THAT...seems to be a variation of the old "Oscar's Grind:"

The first bet in the series is one unit. If it loses, the next bet is also one unit and the player notes that a loss will now bring the deficit of the series to two units. After a loss, the next bet is ALWAYS the same size as the bet just lost. When a series is losing, proceeds of a successful bet are not pocketed, but the next bet is INCREASED by ONE unit. No bet EVER is larger than may be necessary to end a series with a profit of ONE unit.

MY method is actually a steep "Martingale" progression. You're increasing your bet about 2.7 times every every loss. I mention that you need ice water in your veins to do this, because your actual profit on any bet is never more than $12, and sometimes as low as $7; but you risk losing significantly more...especially if and when the start to "7s" pile up. However...ANY 6 or 8 on the dice....puts you in the black for the entire session...and lowers your next bet, back to $6 on each number.

Casinos have no opinion on ANY "system." They just want to keep you at the table for as long as possible.
