I'd considered this hotel a few years ago when it was a Fairmont but passed. A day or two ago while checking options for a one night stay in Miami saw Turnberry on sale and checked it out again but again couldn't make the location work and now reading your update am glad I'm sticking with my IC Miami stay instead of trying my luck here.
