Strangely the age on the profile also changed to his age even though no one changed it. Is the supposedly confidential survey data applied to the Opinion Miles profile? If so do you think it could also be compared to United TSA data to compare birth dates, somehow jeopardizing miles which have been earned?
The way I understand it, the survey companies do check demographic data in your profile against what you say in individual surveys for quality control purposes. I'm not sure how much of a United profile they can see to check against that for quality control. Weird to have the profile age change like it did.
Personally, I wouldn't risk it because right now this is by far the best earner among the survey companies. While I think that anyone who does surveys long enough tends to fudge around the edges a little bit and say that a widget bought 4 months ago was bought in the past 90 days, I wouldn't mess with stuff that can be cross checked against a profile.
