Question: For those that have been on flights that were switched to the mod version after booking, how have they handled new seat assignments in J?

I am booked on a A330 in J next year and keep checking. I want to be sure my spouse and I remain seated together. Right now we have the two middle seats in row 2....are they keeping this kind of thing when they transfer or is it random?
