Strangely the age on the profile also changed to his age even though no one changed it. Is the supposedly confidential survey data applied to the Opinion Miles profile? If so do you think it could also be compared to United TSA data to compare birth dates, somehow jeopardizing miles which have been earned?
MileageAddict and
beachmouse are much closer, so can answer more definitively, but to allay your fears asap, I suggest that you're way over-worrying it, and that your son may have answered several survey questions asking his age - or maybe just one - and they keyed on that. And it's two separate organizations. And they're far more worried about whether he's answering too fast.
