I agree. I do find that some people who brag about how much they tip seem to have an attitude of the servile worker and the benevolent master relationship. That's why I find some of the tipping discussions very distateful.

That's rubbish.

We've tried to explain many times that tipping in much of Europe and other parts of the 'western' world is unnecessary and even insulting in many situations. Those who refuse to acknowledge or adapt to those customs are not respectful at all.

I cannot imagine that any airline permits their crew or check in/gate staff to accept cash tips, and certainly the premise that one tips them on a credit card is absurd.
