I don't think the transfer process at DXB, and more so the arrival process, warrants any favoritism towards that airport, despite the ease of boarding from the lounge for F, J, Skywards Silver and above at Concourse A.

But if you're not at Concourse A, it is a hassle. Immigration queues if you choose to leave DXB are painfully slow and long, despite Fast Track.

Though the lounges may not all be as good, I would much rather transfer at SIN, BKK, MUC, ZRH, AUH etc than DXB.
