Have you called PP, as some of us have suggested?
If it's that much of a concern, call again once you get your card (or even before, so they can note that it's taken a while to arrive) and
politely ask if they'll extend your expiration date by one month, based on your lost ability to use its benefits from time time that you paid to the time that you received the card.
If you go into the conversation without the attitude that they're out to get you just for the heck of it, you'll likely end up with a positive result.
