If you really want to see Sidney Crosby, I suggest staying in hotel in Downtown LA so you can take the train to Anaheim for the game.

You can take Metrolink (commuter rail) Orange County line, or Amtrak (regional rail) Pacific Surfliner. Both depart LA Union Station and stop in Anaheim station, which is a short walk to Anaheim Arena. Anaheim has 2 stations: Anaheim and Anaheim Canyon... you want the "Anaheim" station.

Take the Metrolink south bound (train departs 4:30, 4:50, 5:40) - These trains should get you to Anaheim in time for 7:00 pm puck drop. These trains will be full and packed.

Take the last Amtrak north bound (11:09 pm) after the game (Metrolink is one direction rush hour service). This is the only train that runs late after the game so don't miss it
