There have been suspicions voiced by others on the motivation behind mods already having redacted some of the more hyperbolic language ("appalling") from the original thread title.

It would seem prudent to demonstrate the fact that moderators are totally independent of British Airways, despite having been fortunate to be permitted to travel for free on various A380 delivery flights, by ensuring the thread remains open, with moderation, rather than being closed.
