Given the fact that TSA employment ranks are infested with criminals, there is no need to provide them with personably identifiable information such as a drivers license.

would be highly Kettlish. No positive outcome can come from that - for you, for the TSA agent, or for the passengers in line behind you.
If a TSA employee is unfamiliar with the SOP set forth by their employer, or they decide to make up their own rules, they can expect some serious pushback from me that can get bumped up the food chain to a Supervisor, TSM, FSD, or LEO. I've never been threatened with "interfering with the screening process".
I am leaving behind a wake of TSA employees that have indeed received some very public "education", or have learned just how little administrative authority they have. Often times other passengers will ask me about the acronyms I use, and we end up having a nice little chat.
Then there's the Behavior Detection VooDoo Practitioners wandering around, oh I have a special place in my heart for them. The only time that is wasted when I screw with them is mine, since theirs is a waste to start with. It's entertainment value for me, and keeps me out of crowded Clubs knocking back rotgut Gordon's.
