Time was when I would be happy with any room that was luxuriously fitted out. But as time goes by room size is becoming more important to me and nowadays I attach a lot of importance to sheer spaciousness.

I'm in line with most views expressed here so won't repeat what has been said. But two additional things:
- I hate suites that are made up of two, tiny cramped rooms. Rather just give me one decent sized room!
- I love hotel web sites that give floor plans and 360 degree views. I wish more would do so.
