Hi, thought I would add this recent experience with AMEX. DH opened 2 Delta Amex cards on 6/27. On 9/2 'he' applied for the SPG Personal card.

Initially cancelled as a duplicate application. He called and they agreed that it wasn't (!) and put it through again.

After further consideration, they still cancelled the application. He called and was told only one application in a 90 day period. He was welcome to reapply on 9/27. Of course, the SPG offer is dead now. -(
