I am convinced that those priasing this property haven't stayed in many decent hotels.
The lounge is nothing particularly special. Better than the Qantas Club in Rockhampton, but that's about it.
The doors have sufficient room under them for limbo dancers to pose a real threat to the safety of guests. You wouldn't want to be giving your wife a good seeing-to unless you have a significant exhibitionist streak.
The decor is crass.
The only winner is the restaurant - excellent for lunch or dinner, but you don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy that. Even the pool is rubbish.
I'm typing this while sitting in front of a gas fire at the Park Hyatt - infinitely superior on all counts. $30 a night cheaper this week, too.
