Decided that ms. dlroads and I deserve a 'decompress' weekend dinner for all my recent overtime work, and her dedicated help. So, we went to NS and I brought with me a 2007 Deutz Champagne Brut Rosé Millésimé. That was a good choice, and a super match with the fish dish, as well as the Risotto appetizer, and the shrimps for ms. dlroads. We also gave a taste to the house, of course. Ms. DLroads loved the color and bubbles. Not as bubblish as the Paillard (smaller bubbles) but as consistent). Certainly one to drink again, though.
My verdict-certainly very good, but compared with Gosset and Pierre Paillard... well, it is a hard one for Deutz to beat. We should open them once side by side for a final ruling.
