Only had that happen once some years ago, at a Ritz Carlton of all hotels. Go up with my bags, key doesn't work. Go back down, get another key made, go back up, walk in the room and luggage on the bed, no one in there. Go back down again and front desk manager is there this time, says he'll take of it immediately. Go back up to a different room, no one in that one, but it was a very nice upgrade to an executive suite for my troubles....
