Personally though, I would rather see it operated by AA, as its footprint in Asia is a bit lacking, and it would be a great route to utilize systemwide upgrades. But either way, its a win-win outcome for customers of oneworld if either CX or AA starts DFW-HKG service.
DFW has a huge Chinese population, a great amount of Hong Kong/Taiwan residents. I have many relatives that live down there that flies to Taiwan/Hong Kong two to three times a year. They all lament the fact CX doesn't fly there, and although I'm sure CX will be pricier than AA but the fact that it will be non-stop with great service and all of them will jump over, and I'm sure plenty of other Asian population that is served by DFW feels the same way too.
