I just noted, when looking at my reservations on united.com, that most of my "R" class confirmed upgrades for upcoming PDX to BKK travel, using one GPU, have today been changed to "PN":

Today:
PDX - IAH PN
IAH - SFO PN
SFO - NRT PN
NRT - BKK R
