Thanks Jonu/Mike. I did look at both, as well as the BellRoy. Given that my current leather wallet was sort of small anyway, I felt these other brands were not really a big step for me towards more minimalism (yet functional). The slimfold wallet seemed somewhat extreme and yet usable so I gave it a go - and I'm liking it a little more everyday.

The one trip I made with it in June it held up well and didn't feel like a brick in my pocket and it was nice not to feel too self concious about having it in my front pocket.

My one small gripe was the card slots aren't wide enough to fit a card in a protective foil sleeve to prevent skimming though suppose I could widening it with an old trusty X-Acto knife and hope it doesn't weaken the wallet.

I might be inclined to order a similiar style of passport holder is Slimfold branches out and begins making those as the current leather one I have is a little too heavy for my liking, especially now I've lightened the load with this wallet.
Thanks for chiming in tcook - I agree - it might be hard to stuff in a card in a sleeve. One of the things I will keep a close eye on is how durable these slots are and do they really retain their shape or do they open up in time.
