How many "errors" are we talking about at this point?
1. Linked-In error
2. Facebook error
3. Google+ error
4. Lack of unique code error
5. Improper T&C's error
6. Registration acceptance error
7. Confirmation page error
8. Reconfirmation email error
How many "errors" are we supposed to accept as reasonable in a single offer before we can say American is on the hook?
There are multiple steps in this offer where American could have protected themselves, either with better technology or simply by adding some more qualifiers in the offer's verbiage, but failed to do so.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the lack of reasonable response to many error fare bookings result in a new law or directive that mandates those fares must be honored except under truly exceptional circumstances, and not just because of an IT error on the airline's part?
