EXPs? How about a freaking Platinum member who won't requalify, yet somebody can just type in a code fly LAXLHR and be PLAT next year, even if they have never stepped foot on an AA plane.

They have every right to be furious - it's a slap in the face to their loyalty to do this in a non-targeted manner.
