Best news I've seen in a long time. I was dreading AA turning into a division of US Scareways. AA is basically a great airline, good domestic and global route structure, great motivated workforce and a great fan-club of happy pax (somewhat due to Aadvantage). Methinks this near-death experience will energize everyone on both sides of what was once a management-employee divide to rise to new glory.
