I'm still opting out on a regular basis when I don't get precheck...

I've been getting more of the "this machine is safe" speech but I press on.

My last couple pat downs have been ridiculously quick, with one of them asking "I hope you're not doing this because you like to be touched"
I just nodded and smiled and surprise, he was done.

The others I just thoroughly look like I'm enjoying their touch.

So it appears that making them feel uncomfortable still works to end the process faster than normal.

Go figure. Entertains me at least.
