Make sure her JP number is not mentioned on the ticket. My parents have a supplementary card and they have enjoyed extra baggage allowance as well as lounge access, but with ICICI Jet card. I assume HDFC card would be no different.

P.S - Amex refused my wife entry to the lounge with a supplementary card.
